$18 Billion dollars. (Yes, that was B you just heard). Nilofer Merchant has personally launched more than 100 products that netted this astounding amount. It’s this kind of leadership – the type that results in innovation, and growth – that she now shares and why we invited her here to speak with us.
Merchant works with teams like us to create enduring advantages, to innovate and invent the future. From working with Steve Jobs at Apple, to defeating Microsoft in an epic industry battle, to advising the C-Suites of IBM, Logitech and more, Merchant brings blue-chip pedigree to her work. She’s been a CEO, run a Fortune 500 division at Autodesk, and has served on the audit committee of a public NASDAQ-traded corporate board. Fast Company recognized her most recent book, Social Era Rules, as a Best Business Book of 2012. And, in fall of 2013, she was recognized by Thinkers 50 as the #1 person most likely to influence the future of management in both theory and practice. That award was called “Future Thinker.” In late 2014, she was named a Fellow at the Prosperity Institute, a global think tank where she is studying how Power is changing in modern times and the effect on the economy.
She is ranked at one of top 5 writers at Harvard Business Review, and has a regular column at Time Inc. A two-time TED speaker, she has also shared the stage with Malcolm Gladwell, and even Bono (yes, THAT Bono).
Today, she lives in Paris while she works on her third book, bought in a bidding war by Viking / Penguin.
Please join me in a warm welcome!
